After nine years together, Coney was taken away after a heroic battle with cancer. However, her memories will last a lifetime, and Coney's friendship with Chris is a constant reminder to Bandade's President why she works so hard to provide a wonderful life for the animals she rescues.
After all, one day they will return the favor by providing unbiased love just as Coney did.
