(Quincy's Before Picture)Quincy was taken in by Bandade Animal Rescue after a fellow rescuer asked if we could help.
At the time he was placed in Bandade's hands, he had no hair and a belly full of worms.
After treatment, the puppy was adopted but then returned by a family that claimed he was too "energetic".
This actually turned out for the better because several weeks after his return, Quincy became deathly ill and almost died. After a spinal tap, it was discovered that he had Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy. This meant that his growth plates had become infected.
After treatment, which included oral medications, and a little loving care, Quincy is absolutely fine and was adopted by a family who thinks he's not too energetic but "just perfect"!
